  Emirates Introduces Two Additional Flights To Tunis

Emirates announced lately that it is introducing two additional flights per week to Tunisian capital Tunis. This makes the number of Emirates flights traveling to Tunis to around 6.The increased services will add approximately 3,800 seats per month in each direction, targeting improved numbers of  business travelers and tourists.

Jean Luc Grillet, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Africa stated that Tunis is a noteworthy market for Emirates and these additional flights are an evidence to their increasing presence in the market since they began operations to Tunisia five years ago.

He also stated that more services means additional flexibility and choice as well as this enables easy connections to points across the Far and Middle East, Indian sub-continent, Europe and Australasia via the airline's hub in Dubai.

  Emirates to Introduce Flights to Zambia and Zimbabwe

Emirates is to introduce flights to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, and Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe.

Zambia and Zimbabwe, which share a border with the Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world, will be connected with a five times weekly flight from Dubai, commencing 1 February 2012.

The Dubai-Lusaka-Harare service will be operated by an A330-200 aircraft in a three-class configuration that provides 12 First Class seats, 42 seats in Business Class as well as 183 in Economy Class.

Travelers in all cabins will be able to benefit from hundreds of channels of entertainment and the facility to send and receive emails and text messages.

  Emirates to Commence Daily Service To Dublin

Emirates Airline will introduce on a daily basis service to Dublin from January 9 2012, making it the airline's first route to the Republic of Ireland.

Dublin will be the 29th route of Emirates in Europe and the airline's clients in Ireland, who presently travel through some of its UK gateways,will be able to fly non-stop from the Dubai hub.

The airline will deploy an Airbus A330-200 connecting Dubai and Dublin, providing first, business and economy class.Currently, Emirates flies to 114 destinations in 67 countries.

  Emirates Introduces Flights to Danish Capital, Copenhagen

Emirates has introduced a new service linking Dubai with the Copenhagen. The daily direct flights began lately, when flight EK151 took off from Dubai.

Richard Vaughan, Emirates' Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations Worldwide stated that Copenhagen brings a fresh and exciting dimension to the Emirates’ network With this service, Emirates’ passengers from Scandinavia no longer need to travel to Germany to join their flights. They can travel directly from the Danish capital all the way to the Far East and Australasia, by means of their ultra-modern hub in Dubai.

The Dubai Copenhagen route,which is the airline's 114th destination, will be served by an Airbus A330-200 in a three-class configuration.

Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Copenhagen Airports, Carsten Noerlund, stated that the route is an amazing news for many Danish and Scandinavian businesses that are operating in the growth markets of Southeast Asia, India, and Australia.It will also help attract both business travellers and tourists to Denmark.

  Emirates Increases Manila European Flights

Filipino commerce and leisure travellers and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) presently have access to Northern Europe with the launch of Emirates Airline's new additional services to Austria and Germany.

Four extra flights have been added to the Dubai-based carrier’s every day service to Vienna on March 27.The additional Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday flights is served by an Airbus A340-500, providing 12 First Class Private Suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 204 seats in Economy.

From September 1, the multi-awarded airline’s daily flight to Hamburg changes to double daily. The additional frequencies are supported by a Boeing 777-200, also in a three-class configuration.

Emirates is strengthening its operations in Northern Europe by including extra cheap business flights to Austria and Germany on the back of fresh route announcements into Switzerland and Denmark.

Salem Obaidalla, Emirates' Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Europe and Russian Federation stated that by offering these extra flights, they were responding to strong demand for extra capacity on the Vienna and Hamburg routes.   Emirates Provides Mobile Boarding Pass For Its Smartphone Users

Passengers checking in on flights to Dubai have the option of obtaining a more suitable boarding pass, as luxury airline Emirates has introduced a new mobile service.

Smartphone users can get pleasure from a paperless travel experience, by downloading a mobile boarding pass after checking in online up to 24 hours in advance of their flight.

Mohammed H Mattar, senior vice president of airport services at Emirates stated that the mobile boarding pass puts flexibility and control entirely in the hands of their customers, while taking a small step towards reducing their environmental impact.

The barcode boarding pass can be read at all check-in counters, airport security and immigration check points, including the Emirates First Class and Business Class lounges.

  Emirates Expands its Northern European Network

Emirates is strengthening its operations in Northern Europe by including additional flights to Austria and Germany on the back of fresh route announcements into Switzerland and Denmark. Four extra flights will be added to the airline's daily service to Vienna commencing 27th March. The additional Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday flights will be served by an Airbus A340-500, providing 12 First Class Private Suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 204 seats in Economy Class.
