| Emirates Increases Manila European Flights |

Business Class Travel » Air Travel News Air Travel NewsSaturday, June 25, 2011Filipino commerce and leisure travellers and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) presently have access to Northern Europe with the launch of Emirates Airline's new additional services to Austria and Germany. Four extra flights have been added to the Dubai-based carrier’s every day service to Vienna on March 27.The additional Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday flights is served by an Airbus A340-500, providing 12 First Class Private Suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 204 seats in Economy. From September 1, the multi-awarded airline’s daily flight to Hamburg changes to double daily. The additional frequencies are supported by a Boeing 777-200, also in a three-class configuration. Emirates is strengthening its operations in Northern Europe by including extra cheap business flights to Austria and Germany on the back of fresh route announcements into Switzerland and Denmark. Salem Obaidalla, Emirates' Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Europe and Russian Federation stated that by offering these extra flights, they were responding to strong demand for extra capacity on the Vienna and Hamburg routes. The strengthened services will promote new business and tourism to two of their key European destinations and offer even more convenient connections to onward travel through their international hub of Dubai.
