The U.S airline American Airlines are to offer premium passengers with Galaxy Tablets during their flight journeys. This new improvement will be accessible on global flights to Europe and South America, which implies that passengers traveling in First and Business Class will be able to partake of additional entertainment by utilizing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet gadgets.


Approximately 6,000 machines will be used across American Airlines services on board the company's Boeing 767-300 planes. The machines run on an Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS, is Wi-Fi enabled, have a responsive touch screen and is currently the thinnest tab, at 8.6mm wide in the market. Replacing the existing entertainment systems for premium passengers, the Galaxy Tablets will provide TV shows, films, games as well as additional features.
