| Turkish Airlines Comes Back To Thessaloniki After a Decade |

The expansion is just the most recent in a series of developments for the airline, which was last year recognized by the World Travel Awards as offering Europe’s Chief Airline Business Class. ![]() Turkish Airlines resumed flights to Thessaloniki lately having initially cancelled the service in 2001.Passengers were waved off with flowers during the introductory flight from İstanbul Atatürk Airport. Turkish Airlines chief executive, Temel Kotil, referring to the centennial of the Republic of Turkey stated that they would make İstanbul the most easily reachable city worldwide before 2023. The flights of Turkish Airlines (THY) to Thessaloniki will take place 4 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
