Passionate travel enthusiasts and devoted readers of 'Business Traveler' magazine have once again selected American Airlines as their preferred airline for First Class travel. This is the third consecutive year American Airlines is presented with this award.

8000 arbitrarily chosen 'Business Traveler' subscribers participated in Business Traveler's 2010 Best in Business Travel Survey. Selections for the open-ended survey were submitted and finalized in mid-September and very lately the results were announced - American Airlines has been granted "Best North American Airline for First Class Service."


Rob Friedman, Americans Airlines’ Vice President – Marketing stated that they knew ‘Business Traveler’ readers represent their best customers and seasoned travelers with high expectations. He also added that this award reflects American Airlines’ constant assurance to enhance the travel experience for their customers, and that they were honored to be named best North American Airline for First Class service to destinations in North America and around the world.

American Airlines, American Eagle and American Connection serve nearly 250 cities in 40 countries with, on average, more than 3,400 daily flights. The combined network fleet numbers accounts for more than 900 aircraft.
