On the domestic front, he stated that the demand was so high that they had to reconvert several of their fully economy Jet Konnect aircraft to the full-service ones with the business class seats. He added that it depicted that the market is good with their passenger load factor averaging at 82 per cent.

Regarding the Milan flight, he stated that while several European cities are on the radar of the premier private carrier, the route assessment for Milan came out much better which prompted them to launch this flight. With Milan strategically situated in central Europe,Jet's daily continuous service would permit access to European cities like Paris, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Helsinki, Lisbon, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Belgrade and Budapest. Milan is the 24th destination in the private airline's global network.

He concluded saying that they were confident that Jet Airways will soon surface as the preferred carrier on this popular route.
