| Etihad Commenced Economy-Only Flights From October 31 |

Business Class Travel » Air Travel News Air Travel NewsMonday, November 1, 2010Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi based national airline of the UAE, commenced its 'all economy' class service from October 31.The reconfigured Airbus A320 aircraft accommodates 162 economy class passengers, which is 42 more than the similar aircraft in the Etihad fleet which carrys the complete range of seating options. The aircraft operates to Alexandria, Colombo, Damascus, Thiruvananthapuram, Calicut and Peshawar. ![]() In the month of August, James Hogan, CEO of the Abu Dhabi based carrier made a statement to the Arabian Business that the introduction of the all economy class aircraft is the beginning of a new era for Etihad. Etihad Airways operates nearly 147 daily flights to 64 destinations in 42 countries,via a fleet of 54 aircraft. Its operation is to a great deal centered in Europe and Asia, as well as Oceania, Africa and North America.
