Jet Airways lately introduced its first flight to Italy, saying it intended to spread its global network in Europe as well as within the country. As per the agreement, Gulf Air will place its flight code on Jet Airways' routine services connecting Mumbai and Bahrain while Jet Airways will place its flight code on all Gulf Air-operated flights connecting Bahrain and Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. Nikos Kardassis, CEO, Jet Airways stated that in addition to offering improved connectivity to Bahrain from more than a few cities in India, the accord will also enable the guests from Bahrain to tap into their supreme domestic network, besides complimenting the presented frequent flier partnership.Jet Airways presently flies to 42 domestic destinations across India, and 22 destinations across North America, Europe, Asia as well as the Gulf.
