Cathy Bradley Berg, American Airlines regional Vice president of passenger sales, Western Division stated that they have been waiting for 14 years to be able to bring these benefits to their customers, and that it was great news that they could now put their plans into action commencing San Diego. City of San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders stated that the significance of this service cannot be overstated. It gives San Diego business and tourist travelers a direct connection to one of the world's most splendid and significant cities.
