Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman is to commence a new service between Muscat and Milan in the first week of December.Oman Air's internationally acclaimed A330 aircraft will arrive at Milan's Malpensa Airport for the first time today (Friday 3rd December) and the airline will then operate 4 flights per week in each path.


Announcing the new route, Oman Air's Chief Executive Officer, Peter Hill stated that they were delighted to be launching their new service to Milan ; their 41st destination and the ninth they have unveiled this year. As Italy's capital of culture, design and fashion, and one of the world's great business and financial centres, Milan is in no doubt to be a popular destination for travelers from Oman and from many other destinations. The new service also provides travelers from Italy a great occasion to discover the beauty and hospitality of Oman.

Peter Hill also added that over the recent one year, Oman Air has redefined air travel, setting fresh standards for comfort and lavishness in every class, introducing state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment,together with live satellite TV, in addition to ground-breaking in-flight mobile phone as well as wi-fi connectivity. Together with that, he stated that he was sure that this level of sophistication will be significantly appreciated by customers on this new service.
