| Lufthansa Introduces New non-stop Flight From Doha to Frankfurt |

Business Class Travel » Air Travel News Air Travel NewsMonday, September 19, 2011Lufthansa Airlines will upgrade its Doha-Frankfurt service to a non-stop operation, removing the intermediate landing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the commencement of the fresh time table on October 30.This will reduce the total travel time connecting Qatar's capital, Doha and Lufthansa's global gateway in Frankfurt, contributing to an even better travel experience.  With the introduction of the winter time table 2011/12, going into effect on 30 October 2011, Lufthansa will provide six weekly non-stop flights from Doha to Frankfurt. Previously, flights from the Qatari capital were directed from Doha via Riyadh to Frankfurt. Peter Pollak,Lufthansa's General Manager UAE and Director Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq stated that Qatar is one of the most active growth markets in the Gulf region and it has long been on their wish list to bring a non-stop Lufthansa service to the Doha-Frankfurt route.
