As part of its constant innovations, Air France introduced Premium Voyageur,a fresh intermediary cabin offered on long-haul flights, outfitted with fixed-shell seats particularly designed for Air France.Effective from August 17, 2010, Air France introduced Premium Voyageur on flights from Bengaluru to Paris. ![]() Situated between the Voyageur (economy) and business cabins, the Premium Voyageur cabin provides its passengers a very high level of comfort at very competitive fares.40% extra space compared with economy class, with an average of 22 Premium Voyageur seats is offered over a surface area which used to occupy 40 Economy seats. Better personal space with a fixed-shell seat which reclines to 123°is offered. The 48 cm seat width, 10 cm leather armrests and 97 cm seat pitch for additional legroom provides optimum comfort. Air France is the first European airline to tender a fixed-shell seat in an intermediary cabin as well as the first airline in the world to offer so much legroom. From the comfort and entertainment perspective,customers gain from the travel kit, a feather pillow and a pure new wool blanket as in business class. Premium Voyageur passengers also enjoy an electric plug for a laptop, a wide tray that can effortlessly contain a laptop along with papers and a glass, an individual directional reading light, a noise-reducing headset and large individual video screen 10.4 inches wide for best possible enjoyment of the exclusive Air France 500 hours of audio and video on demand programmes.
