| Air China Increases First as well as Business Class Ticket Prices |

The airline is the foremost to raise prices subsequent to the decision of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the National Development and Reform Commission to begin open pricing for first as well as business class seats. ![]() The price of first and business class tickets on flights from Beijing to Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou will be increased to a maximum of 230 and 180 percent, respectively, of that of coach tickets. First and business class ticket prices for all other flights will be enlarged to a maximum of 200 and 150 percent, respectively, of that of economy class tickets. Air China will also include discount tickets for first and business class on the 43 routes, which will range between 145-200 and 120-150 percent, respectively, of economy class ticket prices.
