Presently in court-led administration having filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year, Japan's biggest airline by revenue said the newest in a series of cuts will slice 40% off global passenger capacity in comparison to fiscal 2008, while domestic capacity will decrease by 30%. ![]() The company stated that the extent to which the route and air travel frequency plan has been streamlined is essential to achieving a speedy revival of the JAL group. In the most recent action, 15 international routes will be cut, while 30 domestic routes will be halted . Additionally,JAL affirmed that entire changes made since the end of fiscal 2009 mean 11 overseas bases will be shut, together with those in cities like Sao Paolo and Rome, while 8 domestic bases will also close up.
