| Lufthansa Airlines to Commence Operation of A380 On Miami Route |

Business Class Travel » Air Travel News Air Travel NewsThursday, March 31, 2011The gamut of Lufthansa A380 destinations in the USA is escalating: Miami will be the next US destination to be served by the carrier's flagship A380. Commencing June10 2011, Lufthansa will be operating A380 flights from Frankfurt to Florida on a daily basis. ![]() The world’s leading passenger aircraft is replacing a Boeing 747-400 presently serving this route, utilizing the existing flight numbers LH 462 and LH 463. The cabin accommodating 526 passengers will be set up with 8 seats in First Class, 98 in Business Class and 420 in Economy Class, all in exceptional comfort. However, fares on the A380 flights will be same as the regular price on this connection. Miami will in addition be served on a daily basis from Zurich by SWISS with an Airbus A340. During the winter flight schedule, Lufthansa recommence direct flights to Miami from Dusseldorf with an Airbus A330-300, primarily in early October with three weekly flights, mounting to daily service from November.
