| Etihad Airways Increases Frequency From Manchester |

Business Class Travel » Air Travel News Air Travel NewsMonday, March 7, 2011Etihad Airways has announced it is to double the frequency of its service connecting Manchester and Abu Dhabi from August 2011. The decision will take the number of flights from the northern airport from 7 to 14 each week, more than the intended 10 a week earlier announced. ![]() Etihad stated that it persists to build its dedication to Manchester and the north west region of England subsequent to the opening of its first and business class lounge at Manchester Airport in November 2010. James Hogan, Etihad Airways chief executive stated that the frequency increase illustrates how Etihad has positively established itself in the north west of England and that they were the airline of choice for business and leisure travelers, whether flying to Abu Dhabi or transferring through to destinations in the east, such as Australia, Thailand and Japan. Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s managing director, added that following the increase in flights and the launching of the premium lounge in Terminal 1 at the end of last year, Etihad has again shown its dedication to the North of England by escalating the frequency of the service.
