As part of its comfort effort, Airberlin has started out a Unique Patiently Waiting Area for regular flyers and Business Class travellers in Hamburg, following similar goes in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne-Bonn and Munich. The airline which functions on an international range is regularly investing in offering an even better service for its visitors. In terms of traveler volume, Hamburg is the fourth-largest airport for Airberlin in Germany.

By offering this Unique Patiently Waiting Area we hope to now make the trip even more enjoyable for our visitors in Hamburg," said airberlin CCO Paul Gregorowitsch on the occasion of the inauguration of the Unique Patiently Waiting Area. Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO of Hamburg Airport, pressured the airline's importance for the airport: "airberlin is one of our biggest and most important clients. We welcome the fact that airberlin is making an investment in Hamburg and displaying a clear dedication to the airport". Members of the top bonus regular flyer program who hold a position card, or airberlin flight visitors with a ticket booked in the FlyFlex fare category or with a Business Class ticket for their linking flight, can use the Concern table at the airport to save time when verifying in. They can also use the Protection Fast Lane to get through the protection checks more speedily and then take enough time waiting for their departure in the Unique Patiently Waiting Area in the Skywalk above Gate 08. Here, flight visitors are offered publications and magazines, as well as hot and cold drinks, and can watch the latest news programmes, all free of charge; 49 comfortable leather armchairs produced by Walter Knoll provide an invites to rest while they are waiting. On July 1st Scandinavian Airlines releases a new path between Stockholm Arlanda and Madrid. This new path will supplement the service that SAS already provides from Copenhagen to Madrid. SAS will now offer up to ten departures per week’s time between Scandinavia and Madrid.
SAS will begin direct flights between Stockholm and Madrid twice a week from July 1st. Flights will keep from Arlanda on Mondays at 9.15 a.m. coming back from Madrid at 2.05 p.m. Flights on Fridays will keep at 07.10 a.m. in the morning from Arlanda, coming back from Madrid at 3.50 p.m. SAS is preparing to use a Boeing 737 on this route, with a flight time of roughly 3 hours and 50 minutes. "We know that many of our clients want to journey with SAS, whether they are travelling for business or satisfaction. So we're satisfied to offer flights between Arlanda and Madrid that are both excellent for business travellers who want to begin their weeks period of time Madrid and other travelers who want to invest a long weekend there," says Joakim Landholm, Chief Commercial Officer at SAS. SAS has so far released 47 new routes in 2013. The new tracks from Stockholm Arlanda are Vilnius, Innsbruck, Pula, Palermo, Cagliari, Thessaloniki, Tel Aviv, Pristina and Alanya. Hawaiian Airlines has released a non-stop assistance to Auckland with the first flight landing in the City of Sails at 6.55pm yesterday evening.
Hawaiian Airlines becomes the only US service provider to fly into Auckland. There are now 30% less arrivals from New Zealand than in 1999 when the two destinations were served by more non-stop flights. "We have been pleased by the attention in our new service, both here at house and in New Zealand," said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian's president and CEO. "The strong social connections between our islands and the islands of Aotearoa create New Zealand a natural destination for Hawaiian and for our singular brand of genuine Hawaiian hospitality." Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Thai Airways International (THAI) will present codesharing on tracks between Bangkok and three Scandinavian places during the northern summer season, when SAS will not fly to Thailand.
Starting from April 8th, TG will Codeshare with SAS on the Bangkok-Copenhagen, Bangkok-Stockholm and Bangkok-Oslo routes.
SAS will hold solutions from Bangkok from April 13th until Nov, and then resume the normal functions, according to the airline's Bangkok office.
The airline declared previously the revocation of its Bangkok-Copenhagen service, which has managed since 1949. It will also lay off 30 workers at the Bangkok office.
According to a review in TR Every week, the airline anticipates returning services to Thailand from its Copenhagen platform during the northern winter period time, starting November.
THAI provides everyday services to Copenhagen and Stockholm and five weekly flights to Oslo, with everyday flights during the northern winter period.
