Emirates Airlines introduces daily Airbus A380 flights to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.This brings the A380 in a three class configuration Emirates' Business Class to Saudi Arabia for the very first time.Commencing June 22 2010,Emirates is also escalating its services to Riyadh. The carrier will operate one extra flight per week on a Tuesday, having already included a further three weekly flights for summer, making its total weekly services to 11. The four extra summer services will be existing up to 30 October.
Ahmed Khoory, Emirates’ Senior Vice President Commercial Operations Gulf, Middle East and Iran stated that the addition of Business Class seats on services to Jeddah has been extremely expected by the market.The A380 not only gives passengers the opportunity to try the Business Class services but has also enhanced the overall capacity on this route by 17% overall.Emirates operates 7 weekly scheduled flights to Jeddah and a totality of 21 scheduled weekly flights to Saudi Arabia.
